HR Business Partner, Global Business Units

The HR Business Partner, Global Business Units & Medical Scientific Affairs will play an integral role in supporting the global business units and medical scientific affairs teams.  As our op co strategic priorities evolve, this role will focus on leading significant change efforts to ensure that teams working on these initiatives remain highly engaged and organization realizes the full benefits of these initiatives.  This role will also be the primary HR business partner to our global Medical & Scientific Affairs (MSA).  MSA is a crucial component of our future state strategy, we will continue to expand the scope of this team, adding resources and ensuring strong integration with key stakeholders in product development and commercial functions.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Contribute as project team member to business unit and MSA change initiatives through the development, implementation and on time delivery of change management plans in partnership with project leaders of these initiatives.
• Strategic advisor and HR partner to MSA senior leaders and their teams; with an emphasis on aligning functional priorities to op co strategy.
• Develop bench strength and talent pipelines for key roles across business units and MSA through application of talent funnel standard work and coaching leaders on talent development.
• Serve as both project team member and project leader (depending on scope of project), on business unit talent & change initiatives, using DBS standard work for action planning and daily management.
• Collaborate with the Business Unit HR leadership team to assess organizational development needs and design and implement targeted interventions to address identified gaps.

The essential requirements of this job include:

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience, OR Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience OR Doctoral degree with 4+ years of experience
• Minimum of 6 years of previous work experience in Human Resources as an HRBP or Talent Management partner
• Demonstrated ability to navigate, influence, and manage resources across complex functional matrix.
• Demonstrated use of project management standardized best practices like action planning and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence senior leaders to support organization and talent development.
