UGI Utilities seeks a Sr. SAP Developer to take charge of application support and maintenance for their SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Responsible for all phases of Software Development Lifecycle for ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) development efforts for SAP ERP/FIORI (Enterprise Resource Planning/FIORI) applications; serve as FIORI administrator for SAP ERP activities; work with functional teams to gather business requirements for development of custom FIORI applications and extending FIORI standard applications; translate business process specifications to technical specification for SAP ERP; develop ABAP objects for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows (RICEFW); complete Proof of Concepts on new designs and evaluate FIORI and development enhancement requests and provide technical solution alternatives and effort estimates; utilize FIORI Admin to create catalogs and groups for user administration and application tile creation and publications; utilize CDS views and OData Services to create custom FIORI applications; work within S/4 database structure to support ABAP development; complete technical development activities for ABAP/FIORI based upon incidents, defects and approved enhancement requests and projects; troubleshoot performance issues and provide guidance and implement performance tuning to create efficient system processing using Parallel Cursors and ABAP Managed Database Procedures; develop documentation for testing and support of development efforts; and develop strategy and support documents with COBIT5 standards.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and three (3) years of experience performing development in the SAP ABAP platform. Experience must include the following:
• 3 years working with ABAP full cycle including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows;
• 3 years developing Adobe Forms and Smart Forms;
• 3 years troubleshooting of ALE and IDocs with SAP HRIS platforms;
• 3 years troubleshooting performance issues and providing guidance for performance tuning to create efficient system processing using Parallel Cursors and ABAP Managed Database Procedure (AMDP);
• 3 years using S/4 Database structure in support of ABAP Development;
• 3 years translating business process specifications into technical specifications for SAP ERP;
• 1 year working with FIORI full cycle including creating custom FIORI applications and extending FIORI standard applications using CDS Views and OData Services; and
• Completed at least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP.
Hybrid – Remote work available up to 2 days per week. Must live within the Denver, PA commuting area.
