This is a term position; length of the term will be discussed during the interview process. Continuation past the term length discussed will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding.
POSITION SPECIFICS
The Hancock Lab in the Department of Biomedical Engineering is seeking to fill multiple Postdoctoral Scholar positions. Scholars will apply single-molecule microscopy, biochemical and biophysical approaches to understanding bidirectional transport by kinesin and dynein motor proteins, and the dynamics of microtubule polymerization, and/or the mechanism of cellulase and PETase enzymes. We are a cohesive, multidisciplinary lab encompassing students and postdocs from bioengineering, physiology, cell biology and biophysics. Qualified individuals will hold a Ph.D. by the time of appointment in Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biophysics, Biomedical Sciences, or a related scientific field.
