Role Overview:
The Creative Director will be responsible for ensuring the high quality and successful completion of all branding, packaging, and campaign projects. You will work alongside the Strategy & Design Division Creative teams, which consist of an associate creative director, graphic designers, and packaging designer. Collaboration with the VP of Brand Strategy and supporting brand strategists is also a key aspect of your role. You will be engaged in all aspects of Strategy & Design projects, from the ideation phase to execution, to uphold high standards and ensure quality assurance across all deliverables. Leading the team through scheduled creative reviews and check-ins while also managing projects autonomously is central to this role.
- Creative Leadership: Provide visionary creative direction and leadership for branding, packaging, and campaign projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Project Ownership: Oversee end-to-end creative processes, managing multiple projects, timelines, and budgets to deliver high-quality results.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the VP of Brand Strategy, brand strategists, and other departments to align creative solutions with strategic objectives.
- Art Direction: Direct visual elements, ensuring creative concepts are effectively executed across various media.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control standards through regular creative reviews and check-ins.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary creative point of contact for clients, presenting creative concepts and fostering strong client relationships.
- Team Development: Mentor and guide the creative team, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Budget Management: Oversee project budgets and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Innovation and Ideation: Encourage continuous innovation and explore new creative approaches and technologies.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of creative initiatives and make data-driven adjustments.
Requirements
- Strong strategic thinking and experience in design, brand building, packaging design, art direction, and campaign creation
- Must be available to start first week of January 2024 and through end of June 2024 at a full time capacity, 5 days a week
- Must work on East Coast Time Zone
- 8+ years of agency experience and experience within the Beauty, Health & Wellness industries
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and lead several projects simultaneously

Salary range: $200,000 - $250,000 PRO RATA
