We are seeking an experienced Integrated Master Scheduler proficient in Microsoft Project to develop and manage comprehensive project schedules for large, milestone-driven projects. This role offers the opportunity to drive impactful project scheduling in a dynamic, Agile-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated master schedules that encompass multiple project workstreams, utilizing MS Project for effective scheduling and tracking.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams, Product Owners, and Release Train Engineers to incorporate SAFe and Agile principles into master schedules, supporting iterative planning and milestone tracking.
  • Coordinate with the client IMS Lead, Scrum Masters and Agile team leads to ensure alignment of sprint goals, milestones, and project dependencies, and to reflect project updates in the master schedule.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key project performance metrics, identifying potential schedule risks and mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
  • Ensure consistent application of scheduling best practices and alignment with Agile/SAFe methodologies across teams and stakeholders.
  • Support Program Increment (PI) planning events, backlog prioritization, and cross-team coordination, and facilitate communication on project status with stakeholders.
  • Act as a scheduling advisor, providing insights into resource allocation, dependency mapping, and critical path analysis.
  • Facilitate regular schedule review meetings with key project leaders, identifying risks to timelines and recommending adjustments where necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in project scheduling, with a strong background in MS Project
  • Proficient in Agile and SAFe methodologies, with direct experience supporting Scrum teams and Program Increments
  • Proven track record of managing complex, integrated project schedules with milestone tracking and dependency management
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess and adjust scheduling to mitigate risks and optimize project timelines
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex schedule information to stakeholders and teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • US Citizen required

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Micro Focus Octane
  • Relevant certifications in project scheduling, Agile, or SAFe are a plus

  • Active Public Trust clearance

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
