People Team Intern

Summary:

The Red Hat People team is seeking a People Analytics Intern to join us in Raleigh, North Carolina.  The People Analytics Intern will contribute to team success by collaborating with customers to answer questions, building documentation of key processes, and enhancing the training of our self service products. As a member of the People Analytics team, you will  have an opportunity to influence how data and insights are shared with our stakeholders and work with the team that is passionate about improving data driven decisions.  You will also work with the team on creating reports and presentations that align to key aspects of the Associate Talent LIfecycle (Hire, Develop, Reward, Retire).

Requirements / Skills:

• Project management skills and attention to detail

• Interest in HR (People) analytics and consulting

• Experience in communications and/or process improvement

• Curiosity to understand business context around analytics questions / requests

• Excellent communication and writing skills in English

• Ability to manage time efficiently and multi-task

• Analytical thinking skills and focus on data

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Passion for open source and working collaboratively

• Interest working with Workday reports, Tableau dashboards

• Prior Tableau development or HR / Talent analytics experience is a plus 

Projects:

• Customer Tickets (answering customer questions and inquiries, utilizing dashboards and reports to answer questions)

• Documentation of key processes through ticket work 

• Self Service Training and Continuous Enablement of our People Analytics products. Create collateral, templates, and train the team on the strategy and enablement materials. 

• Ad Hoc assistance with other People Analytics products and meetings based on interest
