Title:
Senior Program AnalystKBR is seeking a Principal Specialist Program Management to join our Team. In this role, you will manage the development, planning, implementation, support, and budgeting of all F/A-18 aircraft related requirements for Core avionics products to include Advanced Mission Computer (AMC), Advanced
Capability Mission Computers (ACMC), Cockpit Video Recorder System (CVRS), Solid State Recorder (SSR), Upgraded Solid State Recorder (USSR), Digital Memory Device (DMD).
Role and Responsibilities:
Oversees all phases of acquisition, analytics, publications, maintenance, asset testing, reliability, maintainability, support equipment and configuration management.
• Establishes operational and aircraft support concepts and directs maintenance planning for F/A-18 CORE avionics systems.
Develops the Acquisition Support Plans, Funding Summary, Maintenance Plan and Concept of Operation for SSR, USSR, DMD, AMC and ACMC.
Responsible for Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) technical content, schedule implementation and supportability identification.
Develops and manages the overall program/project schedules.
Utilizes available information systems to identify and track reliability issues.
Oversees AMC, ACMC, DMD and SSR obsolescence redesigns and associated software testing at the Advanced Weapons Lab.
Schedules and facilitates retrofit of ACMC and AMC suite into F/A-18 E/F aircraft to improve war fighting and provide Increment One Network Centric Warfare capabilities.
Functional Job Description:
Provides guidance and supervision for NAVAIR and fleet managers in performing planning and management of functions in support of in-service aircraft, weapon systems, training, and SE programs.
Reviews recommended changes from fleet and other activities, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Site Activation Schedules, Weapon Systems Planning Documents, Navy Training Plans, Production Training and Support Equipment schedules and independent technical investigations.
Provides support and participates in the preparation, coordination, operation, and post evaluation of Integrated Support Management reviews, Readiness Improvement Program Reviews, Integrated Product Team (IPT), Maintenance Engineering reviews and other technical meetings.
Manages the efforts of assigned personnel. Prepare lessons learned for process improvement for new acquisition programs.
Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree plus at least 12 years of experience in a related field required. Experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Must have Microsoft office experience (OUTLOOK, WORD, EXCEL), and computer skills/aptitude to use and understand this position’s required unique computer applications.
An active secret security clearance is desired.
A background in Marine F/A-18 Avionics is a plus.
