The Material Replenishment Engineer will determine action for material replenishment and flow throughout the factory. Additionally, the MRS will determine part presentation for lineside stock, determine dispositions for material replenishment and work with manufacturing engineering to maintain Plan for Every Part (PFEP). The MRS will establish triggers for material replenishment based on disposition. The MRS will be the liaison between the operations team and the ERP implementation team to ensure strategies align with systems. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment 
  • Correct, manage and maintain PFEP
  • Determine decision tree for part replenishment strategies
  • Analyze and implement Kanban calculations
  • Work with New Program Introduction to ensure all new parts are migrated to PFEP
  • Establish part presentation within the stations
  • Work with manufacturing engineering to ensure BOM and pick list accuracy
  • Provide connection into SAP systems for material replenishment

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to organize daily activities and to make quick decisions to support a fast-paced process-oriented operation.
  • Ability to be multi-functional in a stop-and-go operation.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills 
  • Ability to lead a team of engineers
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Experience with Kanban calculations
  • Experience with material presentation and visual management tools
  • Strong analytical skills and use of Microsoft Office suite
