JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented coordinator to join our pediatric education team. Ideal candidates will be resourceful, detail-oriented, extremely organized, skilled at task prioritization and time management, demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, dependable, and a critical thinker with a proactive approach toward problem solving. To be successful in this role, this individual must operate with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, with a customer service focus, and ensure compliance with all medical school policies and procedures. Experience with management of staff and coordination of medical education program activities is preferred.

Role Overview:

•  GME Program Support (80% effort): You will provide essential administrative leadership for an accredited GME program, managing day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with ACGME requirements. Acting as a key member of the program leadership team, you will facilitate collaboration between learners, faculty, staff, and accreditation bodies, helping to maintain the highest standards of program excellence.

•  Supervision of Education Staff (20% effort): You will oversee a team of 3-4 experienced GME Program Coordinators supporting other Pediatrics Education division programs. Your responsibilities will include recruiting, mentoring, staff development, training, performance management, and fostering a positive, productive work environment.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required

• Education
  Bachelor's Degree

• Experience
  5 years of direct experience as the primary GME program coordinator of an ACGME-accredited residency-fellowship program(s) required including current specific knowledge and experience with ACGME Common Program Requirements, ACGME's Next Accreditation System, specialty-specific Review Committee requirements, NRMP procedures, and specialty board requirements and 
  May be required to submit to a federal background investigation. 
  May consider additional years of experience or education in lieu of minimum qualifications. Must be approved by GME office and Human Resources.
