Resource Innovations is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. We are seeking a mission driven marketing professional who has an interest in energy efficiency and working towards a more sustainable energy future. A background in utility programs or energy efficiency is not required, however the ability and passion to learn and become well-versed in the energy efficiency industry is. Additionally, we are seeking individuals who have experience working with various marketing software packages, project management tools, and have proven experience leading large scale clients.
As a Marketing Manager, you will support the delivery of energy efficiency programs on the Resource Innovations Marketing Delivery team. The position will report to the Marketing Director who oversees delivery of programs across numerous clients in Resource Innovations’ Central and Eastern regions. This role will be responsible for developing, executing and coordinating a broad scope of projects and deliverables across social media, websites, collateral, events, reports and outreach. This position works collaboratively with internal Marketing, Client Delivery, and Business Development teams as well as external parties. The position is a highly visible role and will be responsible for responding to client requests efficiently and effectively, ensuring that we’re delivering the best quality of service. Communication and interpersonal skills are a big part of this position as this position will be communicating with clients and internal team members via email, phone, online meeting, and in-person, regularly. This position supports several, large energy-efficiency programs that will produce significant environmental and social benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Flourish in a high-visibility role and quickly establish themselves as a leader on the team. Plan, delegate and provide oversight on marketing plans, campaigns, and deliverables across multiple contracts and clients.
- Complete assignments and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Communicate key objectives, strategies, and priorities to a variety of stakeholders and contributors (program management, software, outreach, data analysis, customer service, and partner teams).
- Create annual plans and deliver result with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
- Ensure marketing compliance with all contract, client branding, and program requirements.
- Coordinate day-to-day aspects of projects including quality of work product, client communications, scheduling, and utilizing internal and external delivery team members to delivery results.
- Maintain quality control of all deliverable products, demonstrating objectivity and clarity while maintaining project schedules.
- Establish and maintain a professional rapport with clients and partners, including identifying and anticipating needs and proposing solutions to address client concerns and assure problem resolution promoting long-term productive relationships.
- Collaboratively develop, present, and implement recommendations to enhance go-to-market strategies and operational efficiencies.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, end-use utility customers, vendors, delivery team members, and industry partners.
- Support business development opportunities and efforts to secure new business for the Company in collaboration with the Business Development and Utility Account Management teams on as needed basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years working in the marketing industry
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, Master’s degree is preferred.
- Excellent written communication and superb interpersonal skills required.
- Experience presenting to clients and preparing marketing plans.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple time-dependent tasks.
- Professional email and written communication skills
- Proven experience being client facing and managing high-profile, results driven client contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word is required, and preferred experience with email software providers and project management tools such as Wrike.
