Support quality assurance (QA) initiatives by creating and executing test models to processes, databases and system applications, providing recommendations for improvement and implementing procedural changes to ensure technical solutions align with organizational objectives, regulatory standards and business needs. Provide thought leadership for strategic business and technology initiatives taking both short- and long-term implications into consideration to support delivery of features.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects in designated area of responsibility by prioritizing tasks and adhering to deadlines to meet department objectives and individual performance metrics
•Analyze business requirements for accuracy, completeness, redundancy, ambiguity and testability
•Define and identify testing scope, risks, assumptions used to design, build and prioritize test cases
•Work with members of QA, Application Development, and Project Management to assure timely completion of testing plans
•Participate in policy development to ensure all factors are considered at an early stage
•Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate change and support business needs
•Recommend and/or design multiple technology solutions and any relevant technical processes to solve business challenges
•Build and enhance individual development and skill-set by seeking educational opportunities, participating in available training and researching innovative technology and methodologies to provide strong departmental support

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Required Experience

• 4 years relevant experience

Preferred Experience

• Experience collaborating with developers and business analysts to ensure a quality software application
•Experience managing quality assurance and testing processes

Preferred Knowledge

• Working knowledge of a typical Software Development Lifecycle and the appropriate milestones as it relates to quality assurance
•Ability to test in a variety of settings and situations, including instances with no graphical user interface (GUI) (back-end processing, file processing, and/or interfaces between systems)
•Knowledge of software test case design techniques like boundary value, decision table, pairwise, state transition, use case testing
•Applied knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, tools and technologies, including test
•plans, scenarios, strategies and related procedures
•Knowledge of methods and best practices for monitoring and evaluating delivered services for achievement on established service level agreements
•Terminology, function and fundamental capabilities of common computer, software, information and communication technology devices, components, and concepts
