What you'll do
- Supports customer technology infrastructure projects and integration architecture
- Reviews project requests describing user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project
- Approves, schedules, plans and supervises the installation and testing of new products and improvements to current systems
- Defines how technology and applications should be structured in order to align with business plans.
- Works closely with Application Architects to determine the most effective design
- Evaluates modern and emerging technologies to identify the impact on the business
- Provides information needed to assess the risk of production deployment of a business critical application: installation and configuration readiness, performance and scalability evaluation, stability and durability evaluation, and best practices procedures.
- Assesses the processes that will be used to operate, support and maintain the Enterprise implementation(s). Refine the deployment process and architecture so that it will easily scale to fit into an enterprise scope.
- Assists in determining overall hardware and software configuration along with capacity projections and planning for future support of growing operations.
- Needs to be extensible to changing platform requirements or other advancements in the distributed computing model.
- Provides expertise during adoption of cloud technology platforms (IaaS, PaaS) .
- Assists in determining Service Level Agreements (SLA's), for immediate needs/deployments, and enterprise SLA's to support ongoing operations, if any.
- Develops performance, scalability, and durability evaluations and monitoring for load testing and real time.
- Anticipates and act upon issues that arise, provide alternative approaches, optimal solution and continuously improving performance of applications
- Creates and promotes patterns/technigues to foster DevOps adoption

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor degree preferred Comp Science or Engineering
- 3 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing largescale applications in hosted production environments
- 3 years of professional, design, and open-source experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- 10+ years' of diverse technology experience required
- 5 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing largescale applications in hosted production environments
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- The successful candidate will have application development experience in using available frameworks, libraries, or packages for writing business systems as well as have the ability to create or contribute to new frameworks, libraries, or packages for teams to meet more challenging business systems delivery requirements when the available frameworks, libraries, or packages do not suffice.
- Must have SQL Server T-SQL, Mongo DB, Typescript, JavaScript, and Node JS skills are required
- Experience with designing relational DB schemas, optimizing queries, writing stores procedures for both OLTP and data warehouse environments is required.
- Experience with reading and writing to event messaging systems such as message queues or event streams such as Kafka or Event Hub is required.
- Experience in consuming and providing secure web services using SOAP, REST, GQL, and OAu
