Job Description

Purpose of the Job and Expected outcome

A Kit Packing lead will oversee and participate in the shipping, receiving, storing, and issuing of product. A lead will be required to assist in all functions; training, providing direction for assigned staff, stocking, communicating to leader, and general housekeeping. Must enjoy working with diverse customer base and a fast-paced setting.

Key Accountabilities, Duties, and Responsibilities

·  Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies.

·  Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned employees; assign expectations and responsibilities to trainers and seniors.

·  Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; assist in maintenance of inventory training records; file records as required per leadership.

·  Monitor and update Kit Packing systems; operate a computer to enter data, correct errors and control key screens as required.

·  Observe health and safety regulations; maintain a clean, safe and orderly department.

·  Communicates often with leadership team to facilitate labor sharing to maximize labor to revenue (LTR).

·  Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

·  Can effectively multi-task.

·  Ability to work and contribute to a team approach with a positive attitude and outlook for team.

Knowledge, Abilities, and Requirements

  • Space utilization and inventory techniques.
  • Kit Packing operations, procedures, equipment and terminology.
  • Health and safety regulations.
  • Record-keeping techniques.
  • Principles and practices of training and providing work direction.
  • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
  • Automated warehouse inventory system.
  • Utilize space efficiently and effectively.
  • Lift, move, sort and store objects.
  • Work independently with little direction.
  • Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent Command of the English Language – spoken and written.
  • Able to prioritize quickly under pressure and has outstanding attention to detail.
  • Read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Position Specifications and Job Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year work experience in a production environment.

Education

  • Kit Packing United States: GED or High school Diploma.
  • Kit Packing Netherlands:
  • Equivalent experience, certifications, training, or military experience is considered and evaluated accordingly.
