Atrium Health offers a virtual urgent care model to bring access, convenience, and quality to their patients.  This state-of-the-art virtual clinic delivers care to wherever the patient is at a time that is convenient for the patient, leveraging technology to offer urgent care services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We are currently seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide Virtual Urgent Care services on a Part-Time, Weekend schedule!

Highlights of the position:

• Weekender Work Schedule (.6 FTE): 12PM – 12AM Saturday & Sunday
• Rotating schedules since our service operates 24/7/365, shifts will also vary from daytime, evening, and overnight hours, which may include some weekends & holidays.
• Staffing Model: Typically 1-6 APPs, depending on shift (+additional APPs during peak flu season/Covid-19)
• Number of Cases- 4 patients per hour on virtual platform, includes video and e-visits
• The Virtual Clinic sees traditional acute episodic care for all ages 

Ideal candidate:

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care
• Strong virtual presence
• Despite being a remote position, APP must reside in NC or SC
• Must be able to work autonomously
• NC and/or SC Licensure and DEA
• American Heart Association BLS
