Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring training and orientation of new triage assistants. Assists with changes in workflow and implementation of processes. Provides assistants with referrals when needed. Serves as a point of contact for triage related questions with others in triage department and among the different locations. Responsible for performing all duties in accordance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

Three (3) years related experience.

PREFERRED:

Previous experience in hospital/medical office scheduling environment

Prior experience in insurance precertification

Prior experience as Triage Assistant

Work Hours:

7:30AM-4:00PM
