Head of Health Promotion
 

Location: London, UK

  • Lead the development, delivery and quality of global Health & Wellbeing programmes, based on data and business needs.
  • Promote and drive enrolment of employees in Health & Wellbeing programmes and services, in order to improve engagement, wellbeing and employee health outcomes.
     

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Accountable for the development, delivery and quality of global Health & Wellbeing programmes and tools/resources, ensuring content and delivery remain leading edge and align with GSK Thriving People/ employee health and wellbeing priorities.
  • Identify and manage third party vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, achievement of SLAs, resolution of issues and escalation of risks and opportunities to VP Global Benefits & EH&W and/ or VP Occupational Health.
  • Ensure communications and tools to deliver and promote all H&W programmes and services are refreshed, business relevant, drive employee engagement and comply with GSK branding and look and feel guidelines – including use of digital channels in collaboration with HR Tech and People Services
  • In collaboration with Benefits & OH develop our ability to measure uptake and impact of health and wellbeing programmes at the employee and organisation level, focussing on behavioural change, employee engagement and impact on healthcare costs.
  • Partner with regional teams e.g. HR, Benefits, OH regional and Business teams to develop and deliver health promotion plans, based on data and business needs agreed with local Country Executive Boards
  • Promote and implement employee activation plans aligned with H&W & OH global priorities, local country needs and GSK Trust agenda.
  • Accountable for engaging Employee Resource Groups, Benefits, OH and other stakeholders internally & externally to ensure that H&W programmes continue to evolve and meet the changing needs and expectations of employees and maintain a competitive position for GSK in the market.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Multi-national business experience with a track record of delivery in the field of Human Resources, employee wellbeing or related disciplines.
  • Ability to lead, manage and coach people for sustainable high performance.
  • Natural collaborator & team worker, able to form effective and productive partnerships and influence across a global organisation
  • Programme Management including budget, business case development and vendor management skills required.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Subject matter expert in health & wellbeing, health promotion or health policy
  • Behavioural science expertise.
  • Skilled in application of digital data and analytics.
