Position Details:

As Senior Developer, design and develop API code using Python and Java. Develop front end React components. Perform reviews and ensure the quality of the team’s work. Manage AWS resources in a safe and cost-effective manner. Design and implement unit, integration, systems, performance and load testing.

Job Requirements:        

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field and 3 years of experience in software development.

Experience to include 3 years in the following: 

•           Understanding and reasoning through requirements documents, given context and current technical stack, and providing software solutions that meets those specifications with minimal guidance.

•           Making technical decisions on technologies (to include Java, Python, AWS, React, NodeJS, MySQL and NoSQL) used to implement user requirements, correctly identify code challenges from a performance and maintainability perspective.

•           Performing code reviews of junior developers and providing guidance and mentorship to same.

•           Utilizing thorough understanding of AWS services and products.

•           Supporting critical application infrastructure.

•           Building new services that take advantage of latest AWS offerings and providing input on how to optimize for performance and cost savings.

Experience to include 1 year in the following: 

•           Providing production support for critical applications and infrastructure, ensuring continuous uptime and smooth operation.

OTHER:          Job Site: 201 S. College St. 20th Floor, Charlotte, NC 28244; 40 hours/week; Annual Salary Range: $112,424 to $125,000/year.
