Job Summary: The principal duties of this position are to perform advanced inspections on jet engines to ensure that engine components, assemblies, and systems comply with design specifications, engineering requirements, and quality standards.

This is a 1st Shift position: Monday – Thursday 5 am – 3:30 pm

What You Will Do:

  • Read and interpret engine manuals, customer work scopes, and tolerances to inspect engine parts and modules to validate proper configuration
  • Provide complete and accurate documentation to support engine build.
  • Complete and review technical documentation including Fits and Clearances and Engine Inspection Reports (EIR)
  • Complete and review engine package documentation
  • Inspect engine parts and modules to validate proper configuration.
  • Meet production/inspection goals and objectives for the facility

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years’ aviation experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Value:

  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or 1+ years’ relevant experience
  • Turbine engine overhaul, inspection and repair experience, precision measuring tool usage, preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
