Quality Assurance Engineer

What does a successful Quality Assurance Engineer do at Fiserv? 

You will leverage your API knowledge and expertise to write test plans and elicit test cases from requirements. You'll update the testing strategy and prioritize tests in support of SnapPay, a Business2Business solution from Fiserv. SnapPay’s secure, cloud-based solution seamlessly integrates directly with ERP systems enables greater straight-through processing from payment execution to reconciliation, across multiple payment types and channels.   

What you will do: 

• Define and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications: test plan, write test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution for application, network, system, regression and user acceptance testing 
• Perform testing activities: plan, design, script, execute debugging and reporting tasks 
• Develop test strategies to test web applications and API interfaces 
• Execute automation and performance test activities for small to medium-sized projects 
• Collaborate with Technical and Business team to define the scope of testing required and post-test execution activities include error debugging, reporting and internal and external communications 
• Write test plans and test traceability matrices using Jira/Zephyr, Azure or Rational CLM 
• Set up test data directly in Tosca TDS, CSV 
• Automate testing for web applications and web API interfaces with JMeter, Selenium, Cucumber BDD, Tosca, Postman 

What you will need to have: 

• 5+ years of Software Testing experience 
• 5+ years of experience with API Testing, using tools like SOAP UI, POSTMAN, JMeter, Swagger
• 3+ years of experience utilizing Test Management tools such as Jira/Zephyr, Azure DevOps, Rational, QC, qTest  
• 3+ years of experience with version control systems, Jenkins, Jira. 
• 2+ years of experience with information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions. 
• 2+ years of experience with automated testing tools, database concepts and MS Office. 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

What would be great to have: 

• Java and Python experience 
• Certifications such as ASTQB or ISTQB 
• Working in environments like AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry
• Virtual emulation: Sauce Labs, Mobile Labs 
• Experience in BDD Framework: Cucumber
