Customer Logistics Specialist

About the Role

Essity is looking for a Customer Logistics Specialist for Consumer Goods North. In this role, you will support the Business Logistics Director in reporting and analytics to monitor logistics KPI's, identify logistics opportunities and provide key information to internal stakeholders.

You will be responsible for building up a logistic relation with selected key customer by “selling” the Essity performance and VAS offer in order to be perceived and selected as the preferred partner. This means that you will drive customer logistics initiatives and projects in close cooperation with sales, customer facing and solution specialist team. By focusing on the full value chain, you will also take on operational support for the Business Logistics team in Region North.

This is a temporary position until 31/01/2026 based in Gothenburg, Sweden or Espoo, Finland. In this role, you will be reporting to the Regional Business Logistics Director.

What You Will Do

• Actively identify and execute O2C and SM improvements initiatives.

• Develop the logistic relation with key customers by driving customer logistics improvement projects.

• Logistical input into Key account plans and secure follow ups.

• Take responsibility for regional improvement project/initiatives (like O2C efficiency projects, alternative supply chain set up/transport solutions load etc.).

• Logistic KPIs follow up and reporting.

• Root cause analysis and CIP activities.

Who You Are

You take responsibility for your tasks, take initiative, and get motivated by starting new projects. You plan your activities in time, having the ability to work with parallel projects and a solution-oriented approach in your daily work. Furthermore, you enjoy working with data and have an analytical approach when drawing conclusions from given information. You are communicative and have the ability to create relationships in an efficient way with people on different levels in the organization.

You have:

• Bachelor’s Degree within Business Administration, Logistics or similar

• At least 2 years of experience within logistics and or customer service (FMCG is an advantage)

• System oriented with good knowledge of Excel and Analysis for Excel

• SAP 4/Hana experience is an advantage as well as knowledge of Power BI

• Customer-focus

• Change management capabilities and ability to work with cross functional teams and influence outcomes across different layers in the organization

• Strong analytic skills

• Fluency in English; proficiency in Finnish, Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian is a plus.
