Your journey starts now—protect and innovate with MANTECH!MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud Security Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD or Chambersburg, PA. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work as needed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and implement cloud security requirements and architectures in accordance with DoD guidelines; ensure networks and systems incorporate DoD baseline IA controls and evaluated COTS/GOTS products per policy.
Manage Information Security (INFOSEC) compliance through assessment, authorization, and documentation in accordance with NIST 800-37; maintain and update authorization packages in eMASS rev4 and rev5.
Apply knowledge of core networking technologies (firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, WAFs) and IA best practices including Risk Management, FedRAMP, FISMA, and Risk Mitigation to ensure secure system designs.
Review and evaluate new technology solutions for security impact; respond to IA Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs); assist in successful completion of Security Readiness Reviews (SRRs).
Provide guidance and training to mission partners on NIST policies, cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, remediation techniques, and use of tools such as eMASS or similar systems.
Engineer, administer, audit, and monitor systems and networks to ensure cross-domain security, effective documentation, and ongoing compliance with IA standards.
Perform senior-level briefings, prepare and report documentation in support of classified environments, and interface with customers to communicate security posture and risk mitigation status.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Assurance (IA) or Cybersecurity.
Possess two or more of the following certifications at the time of contract start: Security+, CISSP, CAP, CCSP, or Network+.
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with a current/active Secret Clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
