Onsite - Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Pay: $26 - $32/hour

                                                                                 

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position.  Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. This position is also eligible for bonuses and benefits, which are not included in the pay scale provided.  

 

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible to ensure that facility and all its production equipment are kept in good working condition at one of dsm-firmenich’s largest premix plants globally.

Responsibilities:

• Willing to work Saturdays to complete maintenance tasks that can't be completed during production, holidays and for small shutdowns completed in July. Experience in manufacturing environment as a maintenance technician.
• On call 24 hours and weekends
• Plumbing and minor electrical
• Preventative maintenance including all documentation and record keeping
• Exterior building maintenance 
• Assist all departments in repairs
• Experience in root-cause analysis
• Analyze and Troubleshoot repair of all equipment
• Always displays and promotes positive safety behaviors; uses proper personal protective equipment, appropriate safety tools, equipment, and procedures to ensure that self and others go home safe each day; that area and equipment operate at the highest safety levels; that all people in the area comply with the safety directives and keep the area neat and clean.
• Participates in SHE/GMP training meetings

You bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge and skills to operate a personal computer and computer driven controls systems.
• Requires at least 1-3 years’ experience working in a production environment.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license.
• Flexibility on schedule due to on call rotation.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of duties in the assigned work area.
