Financial Collections Analyst , FinOps Support Center - HQ2

We are Amazon’s Finance Operations Services organization (FinOps) and responsible for Amazon’s Receivables (AR) Teams. Exciting and interesting role for team member that understands the rewards of reducing accounts receivable balances and enjoys leading and working on impactful projects. This role is based in our new headquarters in Northern Virginia.

Key job responsibilities
Job duties include analyzing accounts to determine risk, making collection calls regarding unpaid bill account balances, applying payments, and processing credit applications. Role may be authorized to extend payment deadlines or coordinate repayment schedules to ensure compliance. In addition, process improvement and project leadership are important components for this role.

A day in the life
Team members work closely with stakeholders at all levels solving complex problems and develop/implement process improvements. Builds robust relationships with customers and other service centers.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of finance experience
• 4+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
• 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• 2+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL
• 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• 2+ years of business-to-business collections experience
