Job Title: Senior Financial Manager

Job Summary:

The Sr. Finance Manager is responsible for managing FP&A for a key business segment and providing analytical and strategic support. This role is critical for ensuring that customer reporting and analytical needs are met. The Sr. Finance Manager will manage a team of Finance Managers and Analysts to oversee the P&L for this business segment and will manage risks & opportunities while also ensuring optimal profitability for key accounts. The Sr. Finance Manager will also be a key business partner to operations and will regularly work cross-functionally with leadership to drive improvements and make strategic financial decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive profitability of respective accounts through analysis support to all cost centers in understanding variances in expenses to budget, forecast and prior year and recommend appropriate actions.

Manage a team of Finance Manager(s) and Analysts guiding their activities in support of the company strategic objectives and also all customer support functions. i.e. New customer set up, Customer reporting, Customer communications and Business Reviews, Contract negotiations etc. Hold and manage key customer relationships from a financial support perspective Manage formal budget and forecast process including the preparation of detailed variance explanations on all P&L activity Monitor ICOS and SG&A costs to ensure department spend is aligned with expectations

Month end close activates – Accruals and performance review

Perform risk analysis on account portfolio and Ad-hoc financial analysis as required

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA Preferred

Business Experience

Minimum of 7 Years of Related FP&A Experience

Technical Qualifications & Skills

Expert Level Excel and Power Point Skills. Tableau Experience Preferred

 

Ability to multi-task and work in matrix-organization

Focuses on the achievement of objectives and standards. Experience in process improvement and maximizing profitability

Builds and maintains relationships with both internal and external customers and works with them to meet or exceed their expectations

Ability to travel for client meetings and business reviews. Estimated travel of 20%

Strong public speaking skills

Attention to detail and time management, as well as effective meeting management
