Our Global Supplier Industrialization team enables the industrialization of innovative products in an extremely aggressive timeline across the globe. In this highly visible role, the Supplier Industrialization Manager for Quality Management Systems (QMS) recruits, develops, mentors, and leads a team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and Supplier Industrialization Engineers (SIEs) who are responsible to lead, develop and drive best-in-class quality management systems including auditing and risk compliance systems. You will also lead development of and day to day maintenance of Supplier and SIE team quality performance metrics, tools and databases leading to predictive analytics.

You will lead a team that is actively engaged and act as a liaison across TPMs and QMS personnel from functional areas such as corporate quality, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering IT, enterprise, and corporate program management to create innovative QMS methods, processes, tools and techniques to achieve ambitious specifications and ensure a flawless execution during launch.

Candidate must be industrious, agile, ability wok in different time zones and able to travel across the globe (NA/Asia/EU/KSA) to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for QMS development.

Candidate must have a deep professional experience implementing advanced quality management systems and industry best practices and be able to direct suppliers, TPMs and SIEs on QMS deliverables and KPIs and have the capacity to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing, and sometimes unpredictable environment.

 

You Will:

  • Quality Management Systems (QMS) Leadership for Supplier Industrialization Engineering (SIE):
    • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the SIE QMS, aligning with broader organizational QMS goals.
    • Ensure SIE QMS team coverage for new product launches, internal-external running changes including NPI and maintain a high level of technical expertise in each area, aligned with Engineering and cross functional teams.
    • Working cross functional, lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SIE QMS projects and programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Implement and refine SIE QMS project and program management methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in delivery.
    • Provide coaching for SIE quality toolbox (ISO/IATF/VDA Auditing, DFM/A, GD&T, Run at Rate, PFEP, 8D/Problem Solving) and automotive core pillars (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA)
    • Institutionalize SIE APQP/PDP Quality Gates including PFEP deployment and successful PPAP during launches.
    • Lead SIE QMS process and system audits in compliance with ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO26262 standards.
    • On a day-to-day basis, lead the QMS team to follow-up, conduct periodic audits and escalate with work cross functional teams on SIE QMS project and program progress, resolving issues and adjusting as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
    • Lead regular reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of the SIE QMS project and program status, pinpoint areas for enhancement, provide risk mitigation plans and ensure consistent and impactful communication and escalations to Leadership.
  • SIE QMS Team Development:
    • Build and lead high-performing SIE QMS teams of TPMs and Engineers with a strong focus on collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Provide hands-on training. coaching and mentorship to develop the QMS, auditing and risk compliance and expertise of team members.
    • Establish and communicate direct reports of QMS team OKRs-Goals-KPIs to create a culture of accountability and ensure its compliance by conducting disciplined 1:1, 365 review and annual performance reviews.
