Seeking a team member and leader to join the “growth engine” of Collins Mission Systems. This individual will lead all cross Strategic Business Unit, Business Development activities for USAF Next Generation Platforms and Capabilities. Will lead or work as part of a cross-business/functional team; and participate as the principal business development lead with senior program managers and engineers.
What You Will Do
Lead all USAF MiS enterprise Business Development Proprietary Program activities to include:
Lead the identification and development of SBU market requirements, and go-to-market strategies for next generation platforms and generational platform capability upgrades
Responsible for developing, forecasting and capturing new SBU enterprise opportunities and maintaining key OEM and USAF relationships with new and existing customers
Pursuit, Order, Capture (POC)

This role requires:
Strong collaboration and leadership skills
Proven and appropriate leadership roles in HQAF, MAJCOM or COCOM
Travel Requirements (30-50 percent) to any RTX facility within the US
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
Experience in USAF and DoD Power Projection and Force Application, Dynamic Long Range Fires, Weapons, Autonomy CONOPs and Use Cases
10 Years Experience within the DoD and/or Business Development in an appropriate field
Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
Qualifications We Prefer
Keen knowledge and understanding of the USAF vision for multi-domain, connected battlespace, JADC2 efforts and requirements development
Candidate should have a solid understanding of US DoD budget and procurement processes and comfortable interacting with DoD SMEs and Senior leaders
Prefer ability to live near RTX concentration areas (McKinney TX, Tucson, AZ, Cedar Rapids, IA or Arlington, VA, etc.) where suitable communications are available to meet program requirements
