Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Emergency Department (1678)

Job Summary - 

Assist with patient care based on the individual patient needs. Performs duties in the Emergency Department within the scope of practice and under direct supervision of the registered nurse and/or physician.

Regulatory Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required (GED)
• CNA required or prior Patient Care Technician experience. STNA or PCT Preferred
• Must have current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Language Skills

• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Previous experience with an EMR system is preferred
