Summary:

Whisker is seeking a strategic and dynamic Product Manager, Commerce to join our team. Reporting to the SVP of Marketing and working closely with the marketing and IT department, you will be the driving force behind the evolution of our e-commerce experience. You will have a deep understanding and pulse of customer needs.  You will build delightful shopping experiences across our website and our app. You will prioritize building desire through a seamless journey, for new site visitors and return visitors alike.  This role demands a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution to build a world-class DTC shopping experience that drives growth, optimizes conversion, and enhances customer satisfaction.


What You'll Do:

  • Develops and executes the e-commerce roadmap strategy in alignment with overall business objectives, focusing on driving sales, improving conversion rates, and enhancing customer experience.
  • Partners with the Brand team to execute the brand vision digitally across Whisker.com, Litter-Robot.com, and Litterbox.com as we continue to grow and expand our line of products.
  • Leads initiatives to optimize the e-commerce website, including user experience enhancements, navigation improvements, and mobile optimization.
  • Implements a Conversion Rate Optimization framework to continuously improve website performance and increase conversion rates through A/B testing, user feedback analysis, and data-driven insights.
  • Champions customer experience by implementing e-commerce best practices, ensuring an intuitive shopping journey from browse to purchase, and collaborates with logistics, supply, and customer service teams to enhance delivery. Is an advocate for site accessibility by building frameworks that prioritize seamless experiences for all site visitors.
  • Collaborates closely with the Site Merchandising Lead to develop and execute site merchandising strategies, including product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
  • Puts together business cases around new projects with assessments of impact vs effort. Organizes a pipeline of roadmap projects with a prioritization model (e.g. Eisenhower Matrix) to ensure the appropriate allocation of development and design resources.
  • Conducts 'build vs. buy' analysis as needed to evaluate long-term solutions, such as content management systems and other e-commerce platform integrations. Partners with development squads to implement scalable solutions that support e-commerce growth objectives.
  • Defines and implements processes where necessary to ensure on-time delivery, clear prioritization, and efficient collaboration across cross-functional teams. 
  • Aligns on communication and workflow optimization with project management across development and design teams.
  • Works closely with marketing, product, design, and engineering teams to align on e-commerce initiatives and drives cross-functional projects to completion, serving as a liaison to gather and document detailed business requirements.
  • Utilizes data analytics tools and platforms to track and analyze e-commerce performance metrics, identifies trends, and uncovers actionable insights to inform decision-making, ensuring robust data and analytics capabilities are in place to measure product impact.
  • Oversees the integration of marketing technology platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other third-party tools, to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of e-commerce performance.
  • Will perform additional responsibilities when required

What You'll Bring:

  • BA in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, product management, or related roles, preferably in the consumer goods or retail industry
