Position Overview
The Go-To-Market (GTM) Planner is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive plans to successfully launch new products, technologies, and/or initiatives in the marketplace. This role requires strong strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and project management skills to ensure that all aspects of the launch are aligned and executed effectively. The GTM Planner will work closely with product, marketing, channel owners, creative and other key stakeholders to deliver a cohesive and impactful market entry strategy.

Work Environment:
At Duluth Trading Company, we value face-to-face interactions that foster our culture of learning, creativity, and teamwork. The role is based at our headquarters near Madison, WI. You will work in the office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely from home on Fridays if you prefer.
What You’ll Do:
- GTM Strategy: Develop and refine go-to-market strategies that support the successful launch of new products, services, or initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, merchandising, customer insights, marketing, customer support, and other teams to coordinate all elements of the GTM plan, ensuring everyone is aligned and prepared for the launch.
- Launch Planning: Create detailed GTM calendar plans, including timelines, key milestones, marketing campaigns, sales enablement activities, and other critical components of the launch.
- Marketing Campaign Coordination: Work with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that support the GTM plan, ensuring that messaging, branding, and positioning are consistent across all channels.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor the success of GTM activities, using KPIs and metrics to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
- Post-Launch Analysis: Conduct post-launch reviews to assess the effectiveness of the GTM plan, gather feedback from stakeholders, and make recommendations for future launches.
- Budget Management: Manage the budget for GTM activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact and ROI.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine GTM processes and strategies based on learnings from past launches, market changes, and emerging trends.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in go-to-market planning, product marketing, or a similar role.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective GTM plans.
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate strategies, plans, and results to stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, building strong relationships and driving alignment across departments.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the relevant industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and data analytics platforms is a plus.

Compensation Range: $65,000 to $80,000/year
Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
