Recycle Plant Loader Operator

Job Summary

The Recycle Plant Loader Operator's duties are to feed a portable crushing plant uing a 980 or equvalent loader, sorting broken concrete from fines using a skeleton bucket, loading class 2 base in customers' trucks and loading rap for asphalt plant usage.  The Loader Operator is expected to perform other tasks as required to safely and efficiently operate and maintain the safe working conditions of the recyle yards.

Compensation

$31.00 to $40.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety/quality/mechanical inspections of the plant and mobile equipment
• Addresses any housekeeping issues within the work area
• Operates wheel loaders, water trucks, excavators with hydraulic breakers, crusher and screening plants.
• Performs plant maintenance

Education

High school diploma/GED

Requirements/Qualifications

• Physical requirements: standing, walking, climbing, bending, stretching, stooping, driving and lifting up to 50-100 pounds
• Able to work in wet and dry conditions as well as extreme heat or cold
• Able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
• Experience as a heavy equipment operator
• Knowledge and experience in the operation and maintenance of crushers and various other types of fixed and mobile equipment used in the aggregate industry

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
