Working with the Global Expansion and Market Development Team, the LATAM (Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile) Performance Partnership Specialist will be responsible for leading the initiatives to manage the LATAM market, collaborating closely with the Commercial & Frontline teams at EBANX: new sales, account management, channels, go to market.
The work will be focused on managing Partners Portfolio in this region while ensuring the best possible performance in terms of approval and chargeback rates. To achieve this, the ebanker will be closely connected with local partners to ensure the implementation of actions aimed at optimizing performance.
The Performance Partnership Specialist will engage with additional partners to seek for optimization, either at Cost Of Payments (Take Cost) or Payment Portfolio or Redundancy Rails. As the operations grow, the Performance Partnership Specialist will work with the team members to set strategies with local payments partners to ensure that EBANX 4 main pillars: (i) performance (ii) SLA (iii) levels of service provided by EBANX to the merchant (iv) robust platform are excelled in Mexico.
The Performance Partnership Specialist will play a key role helping to shape the execution of our expansion plan, and polish the subsequent phases. EBANX expects team members to be active on their suggestions, contributions and proposals, rather than a command and control structure. Therefore expect changes over time for the role and to adapt to the portfolio of our merchant base.
Besides conquering the World, you will also be responsible for:
- Responsible for formulating and executing operational strategies within the region, with the objective of enhancing Approval Rates and mitigating Fraud;
- Overseeing the validation and execution of approval strategies in the region where EBANX operates, while actively engaging the commercial team in implementing the proposed plan;
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including fraud prevention providers, acquirers, card schemes, issuers, and internal teams;
- Leading collaborative efforts with internal teams to implement strategies that optimize Approval, Conversion, and Chargeback Rates;
- Vigilantly monitoring all facets of approval rates, tailored to individual markets and strategic merchants. This includes the approval processes for acquirers, issuers, BINs, and other features, such as Card on File, 3DS, CVV, Card Verify, Pre Auth, Account Updater, Trusted MID, and other features;
- Performing in-depth data analysis to gain insights into consumer behaviors and guide critical business decisions;
- Identifying challenges and opportunities, and devising effective strategies for resolution and improvement;
- Contributing innovative ideas and insights that drive business growth;
- Taking charge of identifying opportunities focused on increasing approval rates, resulting in revenue growth;
- Conducting competitive benchmarking to identify trends, emerging business models, and process enhancements that lead to increased conversion rates in EBANX transactions;
- Establishing a retention strategy for transactions, ensuring efficient authorization efforts;
- Implementing intelligent routing and machine learning enhancements;
- Proactively collaborating with commercial teams, concentrating on business analysis, strengthening daily operations with partners, and fostering synergy with the commercial, product, and engineering teams to advance the EBANX payment platform;
- Developing and implementing proactive planning to ensure partners' efficient transactional performance.
