Description

The Conservatory for the Performing Arts at Stephens College invites applications for a full-time, Box Office Manager/Administrative Assistant.


This position includes both Box Office and Administrative Assistant

responsibilities.


Office hours: 40 hours per week. Some flex time with evenings and weekends may be required.


The Conservatory offers BFAs in Theatrical Costume Design, Technical Theatre/Stage Management, Musical Theatre, Acting, and Interdisciplinary Theatre Studies.


Responsibilities:

  1. First contact for the public and Conservatory visitors
  2. Manages the Box Office at the Macklanburg Theatre
  3. Gives Student Tours
  4. Manages and organizes office operations
  5. Oversees work-study students
  6. Assists the Dean and Program navigator with daily tasks
  7. Maintains calendars
  8. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Eventbrite to other ticketing platforms
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to collaborate and take direction
  • Ability to pivot when necessary
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, Meta Business Suite, and current social media platforms
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • BA or BFA preferred, but not required
