Trustee Manager in the Depositary Services team

Join our Danish Depositary Services team, which is part of Danske Bank’s global Depositary Services team. Our global team has a great diversity of profiles with complementary competences within areas such finance, legal, IT etc., but we are all committed and committed to cross-border collaboration and providing the best service to our customers. The goal is to provide regulatory investor protection service by engaging in a constructive, value-adding dialogue with the customer based on the oversight and understanding of the fund customers activities as well as knowledge on the governing rules and regulations.

The role

As Trustee Manager in the Depositary Services team, your main responsibility would be to perform depositary task on Danish registered fund, which includes:

  • Perform regular controls and reconciliations in accordance with regulations governing the role of the Depositary.
  • Perform ownership verification and asset registration of alternative investments.
  • Communication with clients on issues relating to Depositary issues.
  • Keep up to date with the regulations applicable to the depositary responsibilities.
  • Carrying out due diligence and risk assessments of fund clients. 

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who is organised, has an eye for detail, and uses a systematic approach to rapidly acquire in-depth knowledge. The ideal you is proactive, flexible, thrives with deadlines, and is driven by a positive mindset and a "can do" attitude to achieve the best result in a busy and fast-changing environment. A proficiency for collaboration and masterful, to-the-point communication skills are also crucial. 

In addition, we imagine that you have following qualifications:

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Law or another related field.
  • Relevant experience from banking or working with investment funds. 
  • Experience in working with regulation (preferably UCITS and AIFMD). 
  • Good knowledge of financial instruments. 
  • Fluency in Danish language and great English skills
  • You like to work independently and are self-driven.
