POSITION SUMMARY: The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing customer support to our smaller programs/customers at the branch. In addition, this role will also assist the Sales Manager and Customer Relations manager with various activities to support the larger customer base.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administrative sales support to include timely and accurate order submission, entering of bids into customer portals and maintenance of bid status in the Epicor (ERP) system.
- Managing relationships with key customer personnel across an array of our smaller accounts.
- Manage customer inquiries, providing timely responses with accuracy and completeness.
- Point of escalation for customer escalations regarding delivery and manufacturing issues. Engage appropriate departments to provide the customer a response. Escalate customer delivery issues to sales management when resolution is not achieved. Provide ongoing updates to the customers until all issues are resolved.
- Reporting – provide Sales Order reports for new customer PO’s; provide weekly Sales Order Backlog changes.
- Review order demand and ensure accurate input into the ERP system.
- Support Sales and Customer Relations Managers with tasks needed to support larger customers and sales function to include key meeting support – presentation preparation, minutes, logging and tracking of action items.
- Identify activities to continually improve the process of providing innovative and efficient customer care.
- Support the field Business Development team when needed.
- Interact daily with onsite operations and purchasing leadership and alert them to any customer changes, feedback, or questions.
