Senior Staff Accountant

The Senior Staff Accountant position will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. 

This role will perform month end close activities, account reconciliations, analysis of GL accounts, Payroll and benefit reconciliations, Project accounting and Fix Asset maintenance.  This position will support the year end audit and budget process as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations and analysis
• Monthly Journal entry preparation as assigned.
• Reconcile payroll and benefit accounts. 
• Perform project account related to the R&D function.
• Fixed Asset maintenance and account tracking.
• Support business with budget preparations.
• Support annual external audit requests as required.
• Lead annual 401K audit.
• Support special projects as assigned.

Desired Education:

• Bachelor’s degree – Accounting or Finance

Experience:

• Minumum 5 years

Required Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Proven Strong Excel Skills
• Demonstrated experience working in ERP systems
• Strong Communication skills and attention to detail

Travel:

• 0%-10%

Pay Transparency Notice:

• Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range from $85,000.00 to $90,000.00. In addition, you may be eligible for a 5% discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
• Compensation for roles at GN depend on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
