Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Talent Acquisition Partner will manage full cycle recruitment for all New World Medical (NWM) positions. They will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent for NWM.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods
- Develop strategies to identify qualified active and passive candidates for hard-to-fill positions
- Partner with management to develop/revise job postings, recruitment strategies, and competencies
- Screen candidates and conduct interviews to recruit prospective employees
- Prepare hiring and selection materials, oversee background and reference checks and ensure successful hiring and on-boarding process
- Partner with hiring managers to identify roles of interview team, assign competencies/areas of focus using both technical and behavioral interviewing models
- Support the delivery of onboarding and offboarding processes; ensure accurate and timely completion of all administrative processes; provide support and guidance to managers, new hires, and exiting employees throughout the process; propose improvements to procedures
- Manage applicant tracking systems, create reports and metrics analysis and update management on a regular basis
- Develop and conduct trainings, including interviewing, candidate assessment, candidate experience and onboarding training
- Partner with HR and hiring managers to make recommendations on job offers and facilitate making the offer to candidates
- Create and maintain a presence in the industry community and marketplace by attending job fairs and industry conferences
- Partner with HR to provide strategic direction and support for NWM based on benchmarking, industry trends and market analysis
- Support with talent mobility and training and development initiatives
- Assist with employee engagement and retention related projects
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated experience sourcing and converting passive talent into hires
- Ability to work with various business units and departments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience recruiting in life sciences, engineering or related field
- Minimum three (3) years of corporate and or search firm experience including passive candidate generation and full life cycle recruiting
- Must have ATS experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
- Must have experience with building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research
- Experience in talent acquisition process management and strategy creation is highly preferred
- Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office and travel to and from office buildings to access file cabinets, employee offices, office machinery, etc. This may include, but is not limited to, bending and walking.
- Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer printer, computer keyboard, calculator, etc.
- Ability to listen and speak with employees and vendors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and transport to other offices. This may be performed with reasonable accommodation.
