We are looking for a Working Student for our GBO-Marine-Team based in Hamburg.

 

Your Team

The Marine team as part of Global Business Operations (GBO) of the CEE region within Allianz Commercial contains a team of experts of six account technicians located in Hamburg. The team marks itself with a great team spirit, its close collaboration and the all-time “We are one team”-mindset. While working on various topics along Marine Cargo and Marine Hull, the team delivers high value and plays an important role within the Allianz Commercial gearwheel.

 

The Impact You Will Have

As working student you are going to play an important role within the team supporting on the daily business along the full workstream of Marine as a key Line of Business (LoB). You will not only learn about the complexity of the insurance business. Furthermore, you will get insights into policy administration, its usage along the key tools of Allianz and the interaction with key stakeholders of Underwriting, Multinational and Accounting. Also, you will independently work on exciting and diversified projects which will help the team progress.

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

• Support the Marine experts in GBO in their daily business
• Collaborate with various different stakeholders (UW, GBO India, MN, etc.)
• Execute IIP-Renewals in close collaboration with GBO India
• Match Premium payments via ADT
• Drive Document Management via MS Teams
• Administrate policy-relevant documents (e.g. customer invoices, etc.)
• Support in solving complex policy scenarios (e.g. booking discrepancies)

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• General studies at university, ideally within insurance business, finance or ecomomics
• Fluent in English
• Relevant working experience is a plus

Further Information:

• Duration at least 6 months (preferably longer)
• Working hours: 10-15h hours/week
• Enrollment at the university/college is a prerequisite for the duration of employment.
