Senior DevOps Engineer

DevOps department is responsible for developing new services / products and improving the existing ones at Nuvei. Owning the growth and maintenance of our Crypto onramp / offramp and Banking solutions – platforms that support millions of dollars’ worth of transaction on daily basis.

As a DevOps Engineer you will take part in leading the migration to Kubernetes with technologies like Tekton, Argo CD and Istio in AWS as our main cloud provider, with the state of mind for scale and observability on top of EKS and New Relic. You will assist to the entire R&D department to ease an adaptation to new technology.

Requirements

In this role, you’ll get to:

• Take part in containerized solution based on Kubernetes.
• Help maintain and improve production environment on all aspects of security, reliability, scalability & elasticity.
• Run POC's for evaluating new technologies that can take the business forward.
• Develop our CI/CD pipeline to increase velocity within R&D.
• Manage & maintain cloud environments based on AWS with various automation tools

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years of experience within the DevOps field.
• 3+ years of experience managing and maintaining production environments at scale.
• Deep knowledge of AWS and the different cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with containers and the different orchestrators. Kubernetes & terraform must have.
• Developed and maintained CI/CD pipelines around Jenkins or equivalent solution.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Programming skills with Python \ Bash.
• Experience with Ansible / Helm (advantage)
