Job Description

An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Associate Specialist, Supply Chain Production Scheduler at our Dunboyne site. The Supply Chain Production Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining the finite schedule with Partners – Warehouse, Operations, Facilities. Work in partnership with Planners to ensure required material availability to support desired kitting plan in alignment with agreed finite schedule.

What you will do:

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following tasks.

  • Creation of the production finite schedule in RTMS by coordinating with the relevant stakeholders, schedulers, and planners across the site
  • Governance of the site finite schedule weekly meetings - with a cross-functional team
  • Track agreed metrics for the Kitting, Process Orders & Finite Schedule and escalate via the Tier process.
  • Material allocation of direct materials to support the finite schedule.
  • Link with supporting departments (Warehouse, Operations & Facilities) to ensure that the kitting schedule in support of Finite schedule can be achieved - including assessment of impact on associated activities like sampling, ad-hoc requests etc.
  • Challenge requests for "ad-hoc" and seek to incorporate these into the finite schedule or initiate improvement actions as appropriate.
  • Support both P&S and Operations partners in the use of finite schedule for both capacity planning & labour balancing
  • Creating and releasing process orders to the shop floor operations team.  Leading scheduling meetings, maintaining and conveying production schedule.
  • Provide the planning team with the BOM cadence forecast for each product in the pipeline.
  • Work with end-to-end functions, including manufacturing, process engineering, and warehouse, to enable continuous improvement of the underlining capacity assumptions.
  • Link with Warehouse to ensure that the kitting schedule in support of Finite schedule can be achieved - including assessment of impact on associated activities like sampling, ad-hoc requests etc.
  • Ensure material forecasting is kept current in the site’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system in line with the material planning cycle.
  • Ensure purchase orders are placed in line with lead times and agreed SLAs with site customers.
  • Work closely with the Material Availability Team to communicate the material ordering plan.

What skills you will need:

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

  • Level 7 qualification in a related discipline is preferred. Level 6 coupled with relevant experience would be considered.
  • Proven record of accomplishments of working in a Pharma/BioPharma company or relevant industry, is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required, ability to interact professionally with all staff, both up and down the organisation.
  • Organisational Skills – ability to manage multiple priorities and know when to escalate issues for support and resolution.
  • Previous scheduling experience is desirable.
  • Enterprise mindset to ensure the right priorities are set for the site.
  • Strong project management skills to support project delivery.
  • Good collaboration skills and teamwork mindset.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Effective communicator.
