Lawn Maintenance Crew Member

Description

 A Lawn Maintenance Crew Member plays a vital role in keeping residential and commercial properties looking their best. This role involves collaborating with a team to provide comprehensive lawn maintenance services, including mowing, edging, weeding, and blowing leaves. You'll be responsible for operating various equipment, such as push and riding mowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, and blowers. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Mowing, edging, weeding, and leaf blowing by industry best practices and local regulations. 
• Safely operate a variety of equipment, including push and riding mowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, and blowers, ensuring they are maintained and stored properly.
• Practice daily cleaning protocols for the designated truck and ensure all equipment is stored securely after each use. 
• Provide timely and accurate reports on job site conditions, equipment concerns, and other relevant information to the supervisor. 
• The workday starts at 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in lawn maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical fitness and stamina required for outdoor manual labor.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and landscape equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain quality and safe work habits by following company procedures. 
• Uses personal protective equipment to as is required or for prevention purposes. 
• Maintain a professional appearance including uniform and personal hygiene. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Physical Demands with or without accommodations are not limited to:

• Primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, sun).
• Physically demanding work involving lifting, bending, carrying, and operating equipment.
• Working hours may vary depending on project schedules and seasonal demands.
• Potential exposure to dust, dirt, and allergens.

Compensation:

Training Pay: $17.00 per hour

Post-Training: 20% production pay
