Chief Accountant

We have 10 own brands that are very popular among customers and are focused on Tier 1–3 countries.

Right now, we are looking for a Chief Accountant / Sole Accountant (Polish Entity) to join our international Finance team!

Responsibilities:

• Full-cycle accounting for our Polish legal entity, including general ledger, reporting, and tax compliance

• Timely preparation and submission of VAT, CIT, and other statutory reports in accordance with Polish legislation

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under Polish GAAP

• Payroll, bank reconciliations, and payment processing

• Communication with local tax authorities, external auditors, and outsourced service providers

• Monitoring and implementation of changes in local accounting and tax legislation

• Cooperation with cross-functional teams: Finance, Legal, and Operations

• Supporting international accounting operations across multiple jurisdictions

• Participating in budgeting, forecasting, and internal control improvements

Key Tasks:

• Ensure full compliance with Polish tax and financial reporting regulations

• Act as a single point of contact for all accounting matters related to the Polish entity

• Coordinate with external providers and ensure proper execution of financial obligations

• Optimize and standardize accounting processes across jurisdictions

• Provide insights and reports to management for strategic decision-making

Requirements:

Critical:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting for companies registered in Poland

• Solid understanding of Polish tax legislation, GAAP, and statutory reporting

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Fluent in English and Ukrainian; Polish is a plus

• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel

Would be a plus:

• Experience in iGaming, tech, or fintech industries

• Familiarity with multi-jurisdiction accounting operations

• Experience working in a remote and international team

• Knowledge of ERP or accounting automation tools
