Job title: Statutory Accounting and Reporting Specialist

About the opportunity: In this role as Statutory Accounting and Reporting Specialist you'll support CFM Nordics in monthly financial close activities, including preparation of manual posting requests for accruals, prepayments, and review reconciliations compiled by GL. You'll assist in preparing statutory financial statements, and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on accounting, treasury and tax matters to help ensure timely delivery of financial data and reports. Additionally, you'll contribute to corporate tax compliance, support IFRS-related assessments, and take part in both local and global accounting initiatives.

Location: Warsaw - hybrid (8 days monthly from the office)

What you’ll be doing: 

• Assisting CFM Nordics with monthly financial close activities, including overseeing journal postings

• Contributing to the preparation of statutory financial statements

• Liaising with external stakeholders (auditors, tax authorities, banks, service providers) and internal teams (tax, treasury, shared services) on accounting matters

• Ensuring timely submission of financial data, reports, and documentation in coordination with the GL team

• Supporting corporate tax activities, including performing calculations, validations, and coordinating with external advisors

• Maintaining compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, plastic tax, Intrastat, CBCR, and transfer pricing, and addressing related CFM queries

• Engaging in IFRS-related assessments, proposing interpretations

• Participating in both global and local accounting initiatives

What you need for success:

• Academic degree in Finance or Accounting is required.

• 3–5 years of experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting is required.

• Solid understanding of IFRS principles is required.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Experience with local statutory reporting and basic tax compliance is required.

• Previous audit experience is considered a plus.

• Familiarity with NetSuite ERP is beneficial.
