Job Summary
The IAM Okta Administrator is responsible for managing and securing the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of critical systems. This role involves deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting security tools, managing access controls, monitoring system performance, and implementing security best practices. This position works closely with other security engineers, IT teams, and business units to enforce security policies, respond to incidents, and support compliance with regulatory requirements.

What you’ll do
Administer and maintain servers, networks, and other IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
Install, configure, and update software and hardware components for systems.
Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
Ensure system security by implementing best practices for firewalls, antivirus software, backups, and user access controls.
Provide technical support for users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
Perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring proper access control and security compliance.
Collaborate with IT teams to plan and implement software and system upgrades or enhancements.
Document system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and other relevant information for team use.
Assist with network management, ensuring seamless connectivity across the organization.
Respond to system alerts and perform root cause analysis on issues to prevent recurrence.
Manage cloud-based infrastructure and services (if applicable), ensuring integration with on-premises systems.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Must be accessible via mobile services (i.e. text, voice, data) during non-working hours for upgrades, system outages, and configuration changes.
What you need
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Build, maintain, and optimize Okta Workflows and inline hooks to automate identity lifecycle events, access provisioning, and integration-related processes.
Design, implement, and support Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) and internal Workforce solutions using Okta, including secure SSO integrations with external partners and platforms.
