We are currently seeking a Sr. Manager, Strategic Indirect Procurement who will be responsible for driving value for the organization and ensuring effective performance of indirect procurement processes and stakeholders. This position will be hybrid/onsite in Indianapolis.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the advancement of Global procurement as a member of the Global Strategic Procurement Leadership Team
- Continuous development, implementation, and improvement of a global, cross-functional procurement strategy for indirect goods and services
- Inspiring and leading a matrixed indirect procurement team, providing guidance, personnel development, and reinforcement of optimized processes
- Leading the global cross-functional indirect cost savings program
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop negotiation strategies and providing direct support for high-value negotiations
- Presenting performance reports to supply chain and cross-functional executive leadership
The required qualifications for the job include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with 8+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain or related discipline or Master's with 6+ years experience.
- 5+ years of direct or indirect experience leading others in a matrixed global organization
- Demonstrated ability to develop, sell and implement a global, organization-wide strategy
- Proven track record of successfully building, leading and influencing global, cross-functional teams
- Analytical with the ability to interpret data and make fact-based decisions by incorporating diverse feedback from a variety of stakeholders
- Proven track record of driving results through influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Designing and managing large-scale global process and organizational changes
- Working with relational data sets and data analysis tools to automate reporting and uncover data-based insights
