This role will be responsible for supporting advanced analytics portfolio for NUSA’s commercial-focused business (marketing, sales, pricing, etc.) through opportunity identification, scoping, prioritization, valuation, and governance activities. The immediate focus of the analysts will be to 
support high profile analytics initiatives currently in flight at NUSA, helping to connect business problems / opportunities to advanced analytics solutions that drive real value for the commercial business.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Collaborate with Enable Hub analysts and EA data scientists to execute analytics projects
•    Work closely with the Business to determine key analytics questions and value
•    Assist with conducting opportunity scans of NUSA sales environment, identifying and scoping analytics opportunities.
•    Work closely with commercial business functions to assess needs and determine the most effective means of facilitating real-time, informed decision making
•    Prepare business value cases for analytics opportunities and ensure consistency of approach across sales portfolio
•    Assisting with design and deployment of cross-analytics portfolio governance and prioritization mechanisms
•    Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and recommend new tools and techniques that can help improve our solutions

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
•    Ability to analyze complex analytics solutions using programming language such as Python, R, SQL to identify patterns and meaning and convey those insights to non-technical stakeholders
•    Strong business knowledge of commercial functions (marketing, sales, pricing) of a consumer products organization
•    Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and timelines
•    Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
•    Comfort identifying valuable analytics opportunities in complex business environments

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
•    Education: Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a similar field;
•    2-4 years’ experience in analyst role, preferably for consumer products company
•    Experience working with agile teams to rapidly deploy analytics solutions
