Job Description

We are looking for a System Engineer (all genders) for our Smart Workplace Team (ITSW). ITSW is responsible for all our end user computing devices (workstations, notebooks, mobile devices). Main focus of this position is design, test, implementation, and further development of our IT hard- and software components. Bringing our workplaces from state-of-the-art to next generation is our mission. 

As a Client Engineer MacOS & Mobile Device you will take responsibility for: 

• Governance and control of patch management for our Mac and Mobile Device client operating system 
• Responsible for Mobile Devices Platform (iOS / Android) 
• Creating and troubleshooting application packages in collaboration with our external partner 
• Application owner of our base software stack on Mac and Mobile Device  
• Coordinate test cycle with IT Ambassador Group 
• Rollout OS and Software updates to all clients in your responsible area 
• Problem management and 2nd level support for all clients and base software packages in your responsible area 
• Be part in designing and implementation of new workplace concepts to improve efficiency for our colleagues 

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience with client management, bachelor’s in information technology, trained as an IT specialist for system integration or similar 
• Broad experience within MacOS client and Mobile Device Management in environments of 200+ users/devices 
• Knowledge in client software packaging or MDM solutions like MS Intune, JAMF, Mobile Iron or comparable tools 
• Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages such as German are a plus
