Lead Retail Clerk - Hospital Gift Shop

Lead Retail Clerk at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts.

Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Volunteer Services, the Lead Gift Shop Sales Associate works collaboratively to develop and implement goals for the shop; participates in merchandising and serves as the "go to" person for sales staff and volunteers on the sales floor to assist with point-of-purchase cash registers or to answer questions as a resource person. This person may also lead activities such as restocking, cleaning and other miscellaneous duties.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of retail experience to include purchasing, pricing inventory control and point of sale computer experience.

Preferred Qualification:

• Coursework/Training and High School Education 
• Hospital experience
• Working or leading staff

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
