Key Responsibilities:
Accountable for achieving business outcomes with Pharmacovigilance IT
Collaborate closely with our business to develop and drive the Pharmacovigilance IT roadmap
Successfully manage and oversee multiple IT projects
Software development and change control following industry standards (e.g. GxP and SDLC)
Responsible for Total cost of ownership (Financials and business outcomes)
System Validation and Inspection readiness
Vendor management
Education:
Bachelor’s degree IT/Computer Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences or Pharma R&D IT related field.
Education minimum requirements subject to change based on country.
Required experience and skills:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmacovigilance operations/IT
Solid understanding of pharmacovigilance processes, principles and regulations (e.g. GxP)
Understanding of pharmacovigilance-related IT systems, data and gateways/interfaces with regulatory bodies such as the EMA and FDA
Proven ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical systems
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred experience and skills:
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies and manage a portfolio of projects
Knowledge of Agile / Scrum if preferable
Familiarity with SDLC / System Development Life Cycle
