Senior BI Engineer

We are searching for a Senior BI Engineer to provide support for data warehousing initiatives and to monitor the data warehousing system to ensure the reliability and accuracy of information loaded stored into databases. S/he must perform initiatives to ensure data integrity and consistency. S/he will embrace innovative approaches, be active, and propose actions that improve the unit's operating efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Implement new business requests into the corporate Data Warehouse;

• Enforces standard data architecture processes and procedures;

• Communicate efficiently with business owners to understand business needs and translate them to solutions;

• Design ETL processes and supervise the team that executes them;

• Design Data marts that meet business expectations;

• Design efficient reports with Reporting technologies like Power BI;

• Manage a full life cycle methodology including change management processes and ensuring changes are properly tested and migrated to production;

• Strongly involved in the development of continuously-evolving automated models and performance measurement methodologies;

• Provide Data availability for all reporting ecosystem;

• Exporting / importing data from / to all Quant systems to help day to day operations and increase operational efficiency and

• Build and maintain Quality Assurance controls for the DW.

Requirements

• A BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related subject;

• 3+ years of working experience in Data Warehouse concepts (ETL, Staging/Target Area, OLAP, Dimensional Modelling, Data Marts etc.) and knowledge over Microsoft tools supporting these technologies;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI, SSRS or relevant;

• Experience in the Banking or Consulting industry for at least 5 years preferably in the NPL sector will be consider a plus;

• Attention to detail & accuracy and high level of ownership;

• Excellent MS Excel spreadsheet management skills are required and

• English fluency and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Other desirable skills to be consider as a plus:

• Experience with Qualco’s collection and core systems QC, QLM;

• Data modelling and data analytics;

• Knowledge of R statistical language or python;

• Aptitude to learn new technologies and skills in order to expand Analytics too.
