Project Specialist II (Program & Training Specialist)

This role will use their analytical and organizational skills to support the execution of global projects that improve the clients' capabilities. This role will also utilize their project management experience to coordinate and/or support cross-functional programs and projects related to security operations and security-related training programs.
How You Will Make an Impact:

Responsible for delivering superior support to the client.

Create project plans and build consensus among diverse sets of stakeholders.

Coordinate cross-functional projects from outline to implementation.

Support Trainers with assessing, designing, developing, implementing & evaluating training programs.

Support Trainers and cross functional partners with administering classroom, e-learning & webinar training.

Utilizes critical thinking skills to develop and execute project tasks.

Execute training and exercise plans and schedules.

Identify interest areas and support strategies for improvement.

Develop relationships with internal and external partners.

Provide key business partners with information and recommendations to assist in the development of training and onboarding while supporting all areas of security operations

Regularly review training documentation, protocols and standard operating procedures to align with operational needs.

Support training, learning and development for internal security partners.

Leads daily operations and directs the implementation of standards, procedures and best practices that ensures a cohesive, consistent and uniformed global program.

Work directly with clients to develop strategies, programs, systems and tools that enhance the approach in keeping employees safe and secure.

Provides ongoing communication of planning, project status, issues and risks in a timely fashion to internal security teams, cross functional management and executive teams.
What You Will Need to Succeed:

Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, English, Journalism, Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications or related fields; or 2+ years of relevant experience.

Skilled in Instructional Design principles, e-learning and digital content creation.

Direct project management experience.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team

Systems:

Proficient in MS Suites to include Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.

Root cause analysis, industry benchmarking, survey evaluation and data interpretation.

Experience with Physical Security or Security Systems such as CCure or Genetec is a plus.
